HAVE TO SHARE

Postby Teresa on Fri Jul 16, 2010 9:38 am

I went to Arkansas last week......(Sorry Marion, on the way back we were trucking down the road and couldn't make a stop............well to be honest Marc's girlfriend was driving and I missed Hope all together). Had a WONDERFUL time. In addition to seeing Gary, I visited with my Mom (86) and Dad (91), my niece and my great niece. My niece loves to cook and I had so many home grown veggies and dessert after every meal (Diet time now for sure).
WHOOPIE, I brought 5 of the remaining 7 horses home. Dancer has a year old filly and a 4 month old colt. I brought Tara who has been with me before......and I think she must be pregnant, although I was told she was only put with the stallion last month. Best of all, I brought Gizmo back and he sure doesn't look like the gangly colt that he did when I first got him..........he is fantastic and has thrown pintos so far. Got to get some pictures. Margie from MarJac told me that Gizmo was the stallion that I needed and she was so right as she always was.
First time on the computer in a week...so got lots of catching up to do.

Glad you had a great trip and that you have more of your babies with you now. I can't wait to get to my parents house in TN soon from some of their garden pickings LOL.
Can't wait to see pictures.

I am so glad that you got to bring all your horses that you wanted home. I want to see pictures of them soon.
It was okay to not see me. I have had a migraine all week, so I would not have been able to meet you.

Thanks all........quickly realizing that I need some cross fencing and a run in so I can catch that little 3 month old. I have the stallion and Tara in my little back yard where I keep my little dog......only one fence board down...but no orange tree leaves. Then I have to bring Piper who is on special feedings out to the middle section and bring Dancer and her two foals out so that the other horses will let them eat in peace.

More News..............Tara who Gary said he put with the Gizmo(the stallion) a couple of months ago......has been getting bigger and bigger and so I did a little examining of my own and she is starting to make a bag. NO WAY IS SHE JUST 4 - 6 WEEKS IN FOAL!!!!Gary said that her bag has gotten huge in the last three weeks of her previous pregnancies, so I would think I have 4 to 6 weeks to go. Now what do you suggest......an ultrasound....weefoal test....or just watch for the signs to follow??????

I don't think I would waste my time and money on ultrasound or Weefoal (no offense Judy). I would just watch closely.

No offense taken, Freeland. I am not stocking the WeeFoal tests any longer. IF you need one just order from the website. They do now have an early urine test also, however.
